Georges St Pierre Rush Fit: Workout Training Camps That Get You in Champion Shape

George St Pierre The Champion

Rush Fit Training Partner

Many MMA fans have been talking about RushFit lately. But what exactly is Rush Fit and what does it stand for? In case you were wondering, Rush fit is a training system developed by Georges St- Pierre (GSP). He is also known as “Rush” to his fans, the only name that can sum up his fighting philosophy in one word. It basically describes how GSP is going to go after his opponent in the cage.

He’s going to attack his opponent by getting in there quickly, probably won’t even see it coming, and then he’s going to proceed to beat the hell out of his opponent until the job is complete so that he can remain the Champion. And this was the same type of thinking that led him to create Rush fit. You won’t have to get into the cage with him, and you’ll cut weight, build muscle, and get into shape in instead.

St Pierre says that “If you want to be a champion you have to train like one.” His training methodology is constructed similar to a pyramid. His foundation is crucial- this will consist of conditioning, then the next level is technical skill training, and after finally getting both of these things handled, he moves up to the top of the pyramid, which is preparing a strategy for the specific fight he will be fighting. For these reasons his workout camp consists of Intense MMA style workouts designed to get you the best results in the quickest way possible. Get in, get out, and remain a champion. And there’s also sweat involved.

George St Pierre Rush Fit Full Body Workouts

The RushFit training camp consists of a challenging 8 week program that will make you do work. You get 7 high intensity workouts on 6 DVD’s in addition to two training guides for efficient nutrition and training to make most out of every session you hit.

Strength and Endurance: You will need a pair of small dumbells for these workouts. It’s recommended to keep them anywhere under 25 pounds. Why? These are hardcore burning workouts. The strategy is to hit the exercises quickly and max out on repetitions rather than maxing out on the amount of weight. You will definitely feel the burn.

Explosive Power Training: Don’t put your dumbbells away yet. In these workouts GSP takes you through a series of plyometric exercises to train for explosiveness. This is where you can go all out from beginning to end; you do not have to pace yourself for this one. That’s what it’s all about here, pushing it.

The Fight Conditioning Workout: Then there’s the fighting workout. This gets in some good cardio while training your MMA striking ability. It really makes you feel like a cage fighter. It also includes defensive drills for agility, since not getting hit is crucial when you are in a fight.

Abdominal Strength and Core Conditioning: And Who could forget about Abs? GSP gives you an entire workout developed for your core, because that’s where all your power will originate from. It also doesn’t hurt that your abs may start showing more.

Full Body Strength and Conditioning: Here you are forced to challenge all the muscles in your body by performing a series of compound body- part exercises that will make you feel the burn in every muscle, not just one like you may be used to with isolation exercises.

Balance, Agility, and Flexibility: Finally,St. Pierre takes you through a series of what appears to be strange-looking exercises, but actually work to make you more agile. There is also an emphasis on flexibility here to keep your body injury and tension-free.
